Fairness & Transparency

A digital pack opening is only worth playing if you can trust that the outcome was decided before you clicked — not after. Every rip event on E&C Cards and Collectables is built around that principle.

Our commitments

  • Real inventory. Every card in a deck is a physical, graded card reserved from our vault before the event starts. Decks cannot be started unless every slot is backed by inventory.
  • Locked decks. The deck order is shuffled once, locked, and cryptographically committed before the first pack is opened. Nobody — us included — can reorder the deck or swap cards mid-event.
  • Public commitments. The deck hash and integrity hash are displayed on every event page, along with the fairness algorithm version.
  • Verifiability. After an event ends, the random seed is revealed so anyone can independently recompute the shuffle and confirm the deck order matched the commitment. See Provably Fair.
  • Audit trail. Deck locks and event lifecycle changes are written to an internal audit log at the moment they happen.

What we can and cannot see

Because the deck order is fixed when the event starts, each pack simply deals the next card in the sequence. The server has no per-pull decision to make, so there is nothing to manipulate based on who is opening the pack, how much they have spent, or what they pulled before.
