Digital Rip Events
Rip events are digital pack openings run against a locked deck of real, graded cards from our vault. Every event lists its pack price, how many cards remain, and the prize tiers in play. Buy a pack, and the next card in the pre-committed deck order is revealed to you instantly.
How an event works
- We build a deck from physical inventory — sealed slabs and graded singles that are already in our vault.
- Before the event goes live, the deck order is shuffled and locked. A SHA-256 commitment hash of the deck is published on the event page so the order cannot be changed after the fact. See Provably Fair for the details.
- While the event is active, anyone with wallet credit can open packs. Each pack deals exactly one card — the next card in the locked sequence.
- Pulled cards land in your rip inventory, where you decide to keep them or sell them back to the vault.
- Events end when the deck runs out or the scheduled end time passes. Recent pulls are shown publicly on each event page.
Prize tiers
Each event defines value tiers (for example chase, hit, and base bands) with minimum and maximum card values. Tiers describe the composition of the deck — they never change once an event has started, because the deck itself is locked.
Keep or sell
Every card you pull is yours. You can have it shipped to you (see Shipping & Redemptions) or sell it back instantly for wallet credit (see Buyback & Sell to Vault).
